Stephen Spofford - So you think you know Kennebunk?
Kennebunk Town Historian Stephen Spofford will share the history of the town
through archival photographs and little-known stories in his presentation “So You
Think You Know Kennebunk?”

Kate Bauer Burke - Newcomer’s Vice President, Kate Bauer Burke, will discuss therapy
and service dogs. She will also bring her dogs for show and tell!

Senior College – Nancye Tuttle
Nancye Tuttle is a lifelong journalist with an inquiring mind and a determination to
tell great stories. She’s covered it all from the Tony Awards to movie premieres to
lunch with the legendary Julia Child. Along the way, she’s met and interviewed a slew
of interesting people. And she’ll share some of these up close and personal encounters
Child, Oprah, George Clooney, Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks, Robin Williams and Fabio
among them - in her Close Encounters talk. She’ll also share info about the interesting
opportunities that taking courses at South Coast Senior College at York County
Community College provides her and other fun-loving retirees who savor life-long
learning and view retirement as an opportunity to keep learning and having fun.

Tim Spahr – Maine Warden
Tim Spahr, a Maine Game Warden, will present his Master’s Degree research on
Historic and Prehistoric intertidal fish weirs in coastal areas. Their construction,
placement and uses are rich in information as Tim’s research will focus.

Kevin Mannix/Linda Rota
Weathering Shame, a personal journey of shame and stigma, is an autobiography
written by weatherman, Kevin Mannix and social worker wife, Linda Rota, about their
individual experiences with shame and stigma throughout their childhood and adult
lives.
