September 5, 2019  - Improv Comedy...Prepare to Laugh
Some of the troupe from Maine repertory Theater, Maine's newest improv comedy group, will join us to explain what improve is all about and to entertain and engage us with some of their delightful skits.

October 3, 2019 -  Publishing in the Kennebunks
Find out what it's like to run a publishing house in Maine.  John Whalen, founder and publisher at Cider Mill Press in Kennebunkport, will discuss how he has developed an engaging and varied list featuring everything from New York Times best selling illustrator, Charles Santore to local chefs.

November 7, 2019  -  Elder Fraud/Abuse: What You Need to Know
Officer Candice Siomeoni of the Kennebunk Police Department and founder of the York County Elder Abuse Task Force recently traveled to Washington D.C. to testify about elder abuse.  She wil speak to us about her experience and give special emphasis to how we can help ourselves to spot elder fraud.

January 2, 2020 -  It's Our Birthday
Kick off the New Year listening to representatives from the Bicentennial Committee, the Brickstore  Museum and Kennebunk High School explain how our Maine 200th anniversary celebration will unfold in our area.  From information on the State of Maine's plans, through our local events, to an exciting project being created by a team of students at Kennebunk High School, we will learn about the 2020 celebrations and how we might participate.

February 6, 2020   -   A Brief Geological History of Southern Maine Beach Sands  
Postponed until fall because of weather
The Sands making up the beaches of southern Maine have a unique history with respect to those on other beaches along the US coastline.  Like all sands, they were created by weathering of rock.  But where were those rocks?  Perhaps they were the same rocks bounding our local beaches...the answer that geologist John Dykstra will give us may surprise you!
