2015-2016 Monthly Meetings
Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. usually on the first Thursday of the month from September to June at the Community House in Kennebunkport. Refreshments are served during social time before each program.

September 10, 2015 - Chamber of Commerce - Laura Dolce, the new executive director of the Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, and Arundel Chamber of Commerce will discuss the role of the Chamber in promoting the local businesses in the greater Kennebunk area.

October 1, 2015 - Kennebunk Land Trust - Stu Bowen, member of the Board of Directors of the Trust, will present a brief history of the Trust and its goal – the preservation of special places. Several of the Trust’s properties will be discussed, particularly those with public trails.

November 5, 2015 - Portland Symphony Orchestra - Assistant Conductor of the PSO, Norman Huynh, will speak about his work with the orchestra and in the community at large, as well as a conductor’s journey and lifestyle.

Wednesday, December 9, 2015 - Holiday Cocktail Party - Nonantum Resort, Kennebunkport. 5-7pm

January 7, 2016 - Shipbuilding - Richard Woodman, owner of the sloop Eleanor from Kennebunkport will give a presentation on shipbuilding in the Kennebunks and will have several tools to demonstrate tools used in the era of wooden ships.

February 4, 2016 - Brick Store Museum - A representative from the Brick Store Museum of Kennebunk will discuss the history of the museum and the Kennebunks in general and exhibits that will be coming as the Museum celebrates its 80th year.

March 3, 2016 - Annual Pot Luck Supper – Community House, Kennebunkport

April 7, 2016 - Civil War Medicine - A presentation by Jim Burke. The presentation discusses how the Army was organized at the start of the Civil War, daily life in camp, and how the soldier survived during the war.

May 5, 2016 - Ogunquit Playhouse 

June 2, 2016 - Newcomers Travelogue – Lee Anderson
